Anna Pobol is innovation economist, PhD, associate professor, with over 20 years of academic and empirical work on spin‑offs, innovation policy and innovation ecosystems development with focus on digital economy.

Author of over 100 publications in the field of economy of science and innovation activity, including a monograph on research-based spin-off entrepreneurship and multiple research reports.

Practical work experience at academia, business associations, governmental WGs, international networks. International multistakeholder consortia consolidator and research teams leader.

Proven track record in designing and implementing ecosystem‑level interventions in EaP, EAEU and Western Balkans, including cluster support programmes, smart industry concepts and digital skills academies.

Extensive university lecturing experience (Bachelor, MBA, executive) on innovation, digital economy and technological change, complemented by practice‑oriented training for SMEs, clusters and public authorities.

Strength in bridging policy, research and practice through multi‑country projects for EC, World Bank, UNDP, UNECE and other IFIs, turning field research into actionable roadmaps and governance models.
